Everyday Responsibilities
Mentors typically support children and teens with social, emotional, and mental health or special educational needs both in school and in community settings.
Day-to-day duties include 1:1 or small group mentoring, creative engagement activities, and positive behaviour reinforcement using trauma-informed methods.
Regularly collaborating with teaching staff, families, and other pastoral workers is integral, ensuring each child’s pathway is both tailored and inclusive.
