What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
This job revolves around underwriting specialty insurance products in global markets. You’ll assess new risks, renewals, and policy changes while collaborating closely with brokers and internal teams.
Your role includes developing business, negotiating, and supporting a smooth broker experience. Participation in meetings, broker visits, and industry events are all frequent parts of your agenda.
Another key aspect is reviewing underwriting reports and tackling complex placements with Intact’s global teams. You’ll apply your knowledge of commercial property and casualty wording and bring a bilingual (English/French) approach to communications.
Supporting and mentoring colleagues across teams is also a valued contribution, enhancing both personal and team success.
On occasion, you’ll manage special projects, helping drive innovation and client satisfaction across multinational programs.
